Aleena is 4 and a half years old and patches her right eye to correct the turn in her left. She is legally blind in her left eye and will need surgery before she turns eight to correct her squint 👀

Aleena's big sister also had to wear a patch and glasses so her family are not daunted by what the future holds. They are very grateful to have found Speckles as this has helped Aleena adapt to her situation, by giving her a daily choice and bringing a little fun into her day 🫶

Her Dad, Mark, told us that Aleena rocking her Hide&See patches at pre-school inspired another parent to bring their child to school in a patch. They had thought that their child would be the only one wearing a patch but now, Aleena has another patching friend to share her vision journey with! ❤️
