Meet Ada 👏
Ada is nearly three and needs to patch for at least half a day every day (mostly) to help improve the vision in her left eye, in addition to wearing glasses. When she was only 3 months old, her parents noticed a white spot in this eye, which was later diagnosed as an anterior polar cataract.
She has been wearing patches since about 5 months of age and recently had an intraocular (inside the eye) lens replacement and cataract removal surgery.
Ada's Mum Hannah said "We love using speckles eye patches. The fun prints help with the motivation to keep them on which can be tough at times." Keep up the phenomenal work Ada, we're cheering you on 🙌
