Meet Sadie 👏
Sadie is nearly three and has been patching her eye since she was a baby due to a congenital fibrovascular pupillary membrane. Basically, this means there is a thin, fibrous tissue covering the pupil of Sadie's eye, which can block or distort the light entering the eye, leading to blurry or reduced vision.
Sadie loves to do anything from playing outside to reading books to drawing while she patches. She also likes watching her favourite characters on tv and having a choice of which patch to wear each day. Her mum said "We've been going for a while officially, but it's had some stops & starts! Trying to get in a good rhythm now 😊".
Keep up the incredible work Sadie ❤️
