Mason is 3 years old and just embarked on his vision journey with Speckles. Despite his recent diagnosis of long-sightedness, Astigmatism, Esotropia AND Amblyopia, Mason tackles each day with a spirit of resilience and joy! 💪😊

His mum, Jocelyn, said, "It was only a few months ago that we noticed his eyes becoming uneven - he would go cross-eyed a bit when looking at something really closely, then would look back up and one eye was still turned inwards. This became increasingly obvious when he dropped his day sleep!" After a visit to a specialist, they received Mason's diagnosis and began treatment.

It's stories like these that highlight the importance of keeping an eye on your child's vision and taking them for regular eye checks. Remember, early detection is the key to prevention!

Despite the challenges, Mason embraces his new routine with enthusiasm. He patches for one hour in the morning while getting ready for daycare and one hour at daycare, while wearing glasses full time. Jocelyn said, "It doesn't seem to bother him at all and he just goes about his day being the rough and tumble boy that he is 😊".
