Meet Harry 👏

Harry is 3 and a half and has been patching since he was only 6 months old due to a Congenital Fourth Nerve Palsy in his left eye. This basically means the muscles in his eye are not as strong as they should be, making it harder for it to move. When he was two, he had eye surgery to correct this and after a six-month break, he's been patching ever since.
Harry's Mum, Michelle said he's always been fairly happy to wear his patches, it is just part of the routine. He has a little ‘eye stretch’ routine he does before he pops it on - comprised of his favourite yoga poses! He loves the Speckles poster system too and apparently, they've got quite the collection!
Michelle's patching trick is letting Harry choose which patch he wants to wear and he puts it on and takes it off himself. He also wears his patch to daycare, which is perfect because he is in the pirate room 🏴☠️
