REAL STORIES OF CHANGE
Olu, age 9, had been struggling to keep up in class, often sitting quietly while other children played. After her school vision screening, she received a pair of glasses. Within weeks, she was answering questions in class and joining in playground games. Her teacher says she’s “a different child now, full of life and curiosity.”
Ibrahim, age 12, had severe cataracts that blurred his world. After surgery, he could see his mother’s face clearly for the first time in years. “It’s like the light came back into his eyes,” he told our team.
