Meet Jax 👏
Jax is 3 years old and started his patching journey in August, 2022! His Grandma, Anne first noticed a turn in his eye at age 2 and after taking him optometrist, found out his eyesight was sitting at a +8.5. By the time Anne and Jax met with a specialist, Jax needed his prescription increased to +9.50 and was recommended occlusion therapy (patching) for 2 hours a day for the next 3 months to help his curious eye grow strong 🫶
To make patch-time FUN, Anne tells Jax that it’s pirate morning at daycare! The other children and teachers are on-board and now that Jax has switched to Speckles patches, he gets excited to choose which design he wants to wear to act out pirate morning 🏴☠️
